Film-1007 Hollywood: The Viewer’s Perspective
Welcome to the course Blog for Spring term’s Film-1007 class (both 61 and 40 sections) at Fanshawe College. Section 61 is hybrid while 40 is all online, so we’re excited to team up on this digital collab to see what the other section is working on.
The prof (Elk Paauw, pictured above in the jean shirt) created this website so we can share all of our Final Projects for the course which acted as a capstone tying together everything we’ve learned by going out into the real world and doing things! Either with our hands by crafting a zine, writing a long-form review, or recording a podcast, or with our friends and family by attending or hosting film screenings IRL.
Blog posts will be a mix of special interest topics related to film production, long-form reviews of course films, ranking lists, digital and physical zines, podcasts, video essays, research posters on film screenings attended, and more! Please enjoy.
